MomMom's TAPA. Weeks of work of love from the mulberry
tree; soaking and pounding the bark, boiling the sap for the
light brown color, boiling longer for the dark brown, utilizing
brushes that drop from the same tree. Woven mats and tapa are
treasures in the South Pacific. MomMom was buried wrapped
in a woven mat from Tonga.
